TAVARUA BEDThe Tavarua line is inspired by the famous surf break in Fiji. This piece is comprised of hand bent steel rods welded to resemble two waves wrapping around Tavarua Island. The Tavarua bed is made of 1/2" and 5/8" round rod mild steel. The bed shown is a queen size bed made for a 60"X80" mattress. The headboard is 60" high and the footboard is 30" high. It disassembles into four pieces: the headboard, footboard and two 2" angle iron rails. The bed can also be custom made in other sizes. The Tavarua line was produced for retail stores on the east and west coast as a coffee table, side table and console. Custom nightstand and dresser can also be commissioned. Tripoli's work includes furniture, staircases, window grills, awnings, gates and architectural elements. Tripoli's focus is creating artistic hand forged steel structures accompanied with other natural materials like blown glass, stone and hardwoods.
