Arts & Crafts Style Home Library Built-InThis custom designed home library built-in was created for a customer in West Hartford, CT. The home, circa 1911, was distinctively arts & crafts style (a New England variation) and the customer was quite concerned to maintain the architectural integrity of the home. Constructed of cherry and walnut, the 23‚ x 16‚ library features 17 bookcases with adjustable shelves; vertical walnut pillars with cherry inlays punctuate the cases; window seats; boxed beams; crown and base moldings of cherry and walnut; cherry and walnut fireplace mantle and a spindle style radiator cover (9' wide).
